FEES

First pass edits are FREE of charge.

If you feel that I was helpful and effective and would like to continue my editing services, each subsequent revision will cost $20 per draft. This charge is due to the high demand and to compensate for my time away from my studies.

There needs to be more opportunity in graduate professions regardless of socioeconomic background and my mission is to help reduce that gap.

If this cost is not doable for you, please let me know and we can work something out.

HOW IT WORKS

To Receive Editing Services:

  •

Send me an email with the subject line of what you need edited along with the deadline.

  • Submit works via Googledoc as this allows Track changes which enable you to directly see the changes I recommend.

  • Please attach the writing prompt to any pieces submitted for editing.

  • I will read your essay and submit my feedback and edits, to which you can continue sending subsequent versions. If you are wanting a phone conversation, that will need to be stated in your email, as I typically keep communication in writing form.

  • Edits will be completed on a first-come, first-serve basis with consideration of approaching deadlines. But typically I try to get back to you within 24 hours.

PUBLISHED THESIS EXCERPT:

"While the functioning brain serves as a metonym for the human in the above medical texts, Gothic horror makes reference to further question the reliance of normalized personality as the core of its essence. Medical texts and Gothic fiction alike have helped to address societal perceptions, stigmatizations, and the limits categories impose on humanity. The apparent mixture of the typical and atypical brain creates an intermediate that threatens fragile identities. However, it is apparent that normality is transformative and circumstantially tilted toward the side of those who control its definition..."

STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

Hailey provided the best editing feedback I have ever received. Not only did she provide grammatical editing, but she gave me complete, honest feedback on the ideas and concepts in my essay and helped me realize where my essay was weak. She went above and beyond what I expected. Hailey provided such valuable feedback because she truly understands how to write an effective personal statement. She is really caring and invested--I honestly felt like she cared just as much about the success of my paper as I did. She also responds very promptly to emails! Having a good personal statement for medical school is very crucial to me, as I want to have the best application possible. I am now confident in my personal statement after revising my essay with Hailey! Thank you!

I thought I knew what I was getting myself into before I began the application process, but in reality I was completely unprepared. When people tell you to start writing your personal statement early, listen to them and do it. Although I started with a rough draft left over from an English class assignment, I underestimated the amount of writing and re-writing I would have to do in order to end up with the statement I submitted to AMCAS. The best decision I made during the writing process was to reach out to Hailey for help. She stuck by me as I sent her draft after draft and always provided me with constructive feedback. She read over every word, double checked every punctuation mark, and gave me the unbiased perspective I needed in order to successfully tell my story. Now, only two months away from my first day of medical school, I look back with immense gratitude for all of the time and effort that she spent working with me and I could not be more certain that she is a big reason why I made it this far.

Hailey has been a complete blessing since the very beginning. She helped me completely transform my medical school personal statement, which has made me so much more confident in my application. I feel like I have been able to keep my voice throughout the entire process. She was 100% transparent with me in her feedback and I can just tell that she truly cares about every single person and essay she edits. I will be eternally grateful for her!

Hailey was a godsend when it came to applying for my masters program. Not only did she edit grammar and spelling mistakes that I didn't even think to notice, but she also made the best alterations on how to convey my thoughts. I could tell she spent a lot of time to both understand where I was coming from in my personal statement, and then make it flow 100x better than I was able to. I think the fact that she has a writing and science background from her double bachelors degree makes her the perfect person to review personal statements. I got into my masters program and my grade point average was not the best. I think my personal statement was the determining factor to my acceptance! I am forever grateful for Hailey!

Hailey has been extremely helpful with editing my personal statement for medical school. Her feedback and revising skills are detail-oriented. She answered all of my questions, and I am so glad I found her on Instagram. She is professional and kind. She helped me from the beginning to the final draft for submission. I could not ask for a better editor. I will be contacting her if I need any assistance on my secondary essays. I am forever grateful, and I highly recommend!!!

Hailey helped to transform my personal statement; from content to grammar she does it all! She was very efficient with editing and left lots of comments for me so that she made sure my ideas did not get lost. Hailey truly cares about each paper she helps with as evidenced by the amount of time she spends on each one and the communication she had with me throughout the whole process. Once we finished I felt like she was just as excited as I was to see how far we had come. I am now confident to use it as part of my application!

Applying to different Law Schools could have been the most overwhelming and stressful period for me, but I had Hailey encouraging and supporting me through the process. She didn’t just read my personal statement, she invested herself into my story, and gave me the constructive criticism I needed to produce my best work. She didn’t try and conform my writing into her style, she helped me express myself in an eloquent and succinct way. She will forever be my go-to.

Mikaela P

Hailey has been my go-to for all my editing needs in medical school. She has revised my essays for research and leadership positions, and transformed my sub-par, “typical pre-med” writing skills into a grammatical masterpiece. She has extensive research experience and has formerly and currently held multiple leadership positions, so she knows exactly how to translate writing into the appropriate language depending on the audience. 10/10 recommend, especially for any medical, scientific, leadership essays or applications.

When I began my job hunt, I was completely overwhelmed with the reformatting, updates, and overall strengthening that my resume needed in order to enter the competitive job market. Hailey offered me the support I needed during the stressful time and consistently gave me feedback and adjustments for my resume. She was extremely responsive during the whole resume-building process and I appreciated the second pair of eyes on my work. It was reassuring to know that I was not alone and I had a reliable source of knowledge when I needed it!

Hailey responded to my initial email in less than 20 minutes which I'm extremely grateful for because it was due the night of. I was applying to an award at my high school but I wasn't certain if it was good enough for me to actually win it. I wanted to tell my story while also hitting the prompt. She really redirected my thoughts so that they were compelling! She was amazing throughout the whole editing process and took a substantial amount of her time to work on it with me. I can't thank her enough, she's awesome!
